An opportunity to play your part in our youth development.

Here is another opportunity to play a part in the development of the young players at Celtic Park, over the years we have seen quite a number of players come through our youth system.

[COLOR=#000000:ef193d77]First of alll let me say this promotion is aimed at those who can afford to participate, in these times of austerity and global recession, the last thing I want to do is encourage supporters to spend more than their disposable income allows them to.

[COLOR=#000000:ef193d77]The new Mini Fixed Odds type coupon is very simple to complete, it will consist of ten matches which you have to forecast with home, away, or draw predictions, the cost will be £1 per entry, the prize money will be based on the number of entries, it can be done via the coupon, or online through the link provided, whichever suits you best.[SIZE=3:ef193d77]

[COLOR=#000000:ef193d77]The new TicPick Coupon will be operated by the very hardworking John Mc Guire and his team, John is forever looking at ways to raise more funds for Celtics Youth Development, and all the profits from this new venture will go directly to that cause.

[COLOR=#000000:ef193d77]Youth Development has always played a big part in our history, almost the entire Lisbon Lions squad including Jimmy Johnstone came through the youth ranks, players like former captains Kenny Dalglish, Danny Mc Grain, Roy Aitken, and Paul Mc Stay, and who could forget former Managers Davie Hay and the late Tommy Burns.

[COLOR=#000000:ef193d77]We now have a new bunch of young players to admire, James Forrest and Charlie Mulgrew have played at International level, Dylan Mc Geouch will be pushing for a place in the team when he returns from injury, and Marcus Fraser and Liam Toshney have already had first team experience.

[COLOR=#000000:ef193d77]The future looks very bright for Celtic, the youth players have good leaders in John Kennedy, Danny Mc Grain, and Stevie Frail, they have Chris Mc Cart as head of the Academy, and many more good coaches.

[COLOR=#000000:ef193d77]While we continue to play in the cash poor SPL we will need to get as much as we can from our development squad, and while there will always be a need to spend money on the finished article, that in turn gives us the time to hone the skills of our young players to get them ready to step up to the first team when required.

[COLOR=#000000:ef193d77]There are many ways to contribute to the cause of youth development, this new TicPick is just one of them, have a look and take a chance, you never know you might be a winner.

Gert, I'm hoping we can sort something out for that, it might be you would need to set up a UK bank account to do it. Richard Mckenna is here, going to try to set up a meeting with him to see if we can sort it out.
