[SIZE=3:ba0f6534]There appears to be no shortage of anti-Irish racists in the West of Scotland, one of the latest examples was the arson attack on a mini bus used by Tir Conaill Harps Gaelic Athletic Club; the almost new bus containing thousands of pounds of sporting and video equipment was completely burned out; a compressed gas canister was thrown through the window. The bus which was bedecked with the Gaelic name of the team and Irish symbols was used to ferry kids all around Scotland and England; and in fact was due to be used to take the kids to a sporting tournament in the Kelvin Hall involving seven primary schools.[/SIZE:ba0f6534]
[SIZE=3:ba0f6534]The Irish are the largest ethnic group in Scotland, but they don’t seem to receive the same level of protection as other ethnic groups, in fact in many ways the history of the Irish Diaspora in Scotland has been excluded from the school curriculum; their contribution to the One Scotland Many Cultures seem to have been ignored and air brushed from Scottish history.[/SIZE:ba0f6534]
